Getting a few downvotes does not mean serial downvoting. Your question has 7 downvotes and 3 upvotes (at the time I'm writing this). One person cannot downvote more than once on a question. So it is not serial downvoting. The downvotes came from different people. As for your answers, they have 1 downvote each. Again not serial. Anyway, I've looked into this ...

I think you are talking about me. I'm certainly not doing it for the reputation. I don't get any rep from editing posts anymore. I just wanted to clean up this website a bit. I've been doing this for a while (not just editing, but answering, voting, closing, re-tagging). My reasons? See this: The quality of MageOverflow. I'm looking through old ...

From my understanding of the intentions of starting our own magento.SE is to have a site dedicated to Magento since not all Magento questions are necessarily SO relevant. In that spirit I would say send every one our way and if we feel the users did not make enough of an effort we will for sure let them know. Does Magento.SE have problems with its ...

Just flag one of the posts of the one of those "couple of people" and explain what the problem is, and what you suspect.

@sv3n If the user is deleted then his/her answer remains as it is, Here is the sample answer, where a user is deleted but the answer was there. Magento : Add customer login form Above Example normal user deletes. Now if user marked as spam then his/her associated post also deleted see below example see user user68158 https://magento.stackexchange.com/...

A few reasons being 'stuck' would be bad: Moderators: In my opinion the longer we're stuck in beta the longer we're stuck with pro-tem moderators. Since the last moderator election the participation of the community has widened and we can see who now has the time and effort to invest in moderation. This means that they're also stuck with moderating until ...

Context: No fit for Q&A Shopping List Questions "Shopping list" questions are not a good fit for StackExchange Q&A (see: https://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/158809/why-are-shopping-list-questions-bad) - you'll get better results at the Magento forums (https://community.magento.com/t5/Find-an-Extension-that/bd-p/find-extension) or Reddit (http:/...

You are right, that answer should have been deleted. Moderators are humans too. Sometimes they miss things. :) Thanks for raising the issue. I deleted the answer.

When will we graduate? Is there any specific date for this? Graduation is a multi-step process, so it has happened but is ongoing: when your election starts, you'll be the first site that gets to try out this new "graduation without design" approach... you will no longer see the "beta" label attached to your site's name (✓) you will become ...

This is because you put your code in a listing. Due to this, you need to intend the codes by 8 spaces. This is not fixable since it is an ambiguity exists in the markdown language itself. For more details, you can refer this link.

Thanks for your post and the kind words. We're now on 75% and we hope we can keep momentum to raise it even higher. As Ben said not only the answered rate should go up but preferably the overall commitment of more and more developers to actively participate on the forum. MageStackDay alone will not 'save' the forum, only when we have users daily answering, ...

Let's see how the stats shake out tomorrow. Looks like we made it to 75%. Agreed that the effort is great (especially the organization!), but to be a site which StackExchange would be willing to convert from beta we will likely need to achieve and maintain >80% answer rate. This indicates not just the creation of answers but also upvoting those answers. We ...

This is an issue of all SE websites in general and can't be worked around. At least think that you are answering the question of not a particular user but a Magento question in general. If the question is interesting or you just know the answer why not just answering it? After all we are all doing it not for virtual points or acceptance. Think that your ...

Ok. I found something. Apparently SE devs screw up from time to time :) Excavator and Marshal badges are being awarded over and over

(see [xyproblem.info](http://xyproblem.info/)) What is the actual problem you're trying to solve? (see xyproblem.info) Question only contains an error message Please don't just dump error ...

They got dismissed mostly because of this: Flagging comments There are a lot of flagged comments that should not be deleted because that would disrupt the ideas discussed in the comments. I guess your comments got dismissed because they were in a large pool of flagged comments and were overlooked. I deleted them now. As a side note... Comments like that are ...

I may be wrong on this, but I think the search functions work with AND without combining criteria. I mean something like user:me is:answer user:ID is:question will translate into something like user = me and is_answer = true and user = ID and is_question = true. Which will always return nothing because user = me and user = id exclude each other. But I think ...

We have reviewed on your rejected edit request. At first edit, I don't think Rutvee is wrong that case, your edit does not enough content to improve the question quality by adding a tag and a highlighted text. So, in this case, she might be right. But in the second case, your edit has enough content to improve question quality as you have added a few ...

Sorry about that. I went through a list of spam posts containing "lite"-something. I guess thid got in the middle and disn't pay much attentìon. Will un delete it.

Unfortunately the main closing reasons are managed by SE. They cannot be edited at website level. But new sub-reason can be added inside inside the "Off Topic" main reason. But this is a far too big decision for me to take on my own. Specially because I'm a newbee moderator :). And it takes at least 2 moderators to approve a new sub reason. Let's summon the ...

I guess this is because up to a point of reputation you get reputation for edits. So adding this check should limit people from spam editing to simply to get the reputation. It should help make sure that edits are actually required.

the problem on this kind of question is, there are a lot more then 10 possible carousels. Maybe even above 100. All very different, so in the end its only personal opinion, what everyone is suggesting. also, a simple google search should bring up a lot of possible solutions. Or a magento connect search.

adding new Tags can be a big help for others, who only use tags to finde Questions to answer. In My Example, I mainly observe questions with the Tags Composer and phpunit, if the questions dont have the tag, I will not find them, so its a good thing to have some people wo regularly go trough older questions and add this tags, so other more specialized ...

Sadly you need a reputation of 75 or higher to set a bounty. https://magento.stackexchange.com/help/privileges/set-bounties

The specific tags are not needed and should be removed. The general tags should remain though. [EDIT] Apparently there is no way to delete a tag manually. It is done each day for tags without questions: How can we get rid of misspelled and unused (or "zombie") tags? I guess we have to go the long way and remove the tags from the questions.

All I can tell you is that your -125 points come from the fact that a user that upvoted your questions/answers got deleted. Read more about this here. I have no idea what happened to your avatar. I only see in the activity report 2 avatar changes from May 30. Maybe you changed the avatar on stackoverflow.com and you also clicked to change it on every other ...

See this answer. The condition which you need to meet to achieve this badge is : (total questions - negative questions - closed - early deleted)/total questions >= 0.5 I can see only 9 questions under your belt now. So based on that questions you should get this badge. However as you can see in the given answer, you may have some closed/deleted ...
